Business Torts

Business torts, often known as unfair business practices, consist of fraud, misrepresentation, and any other wrongful acts that a business may perform which cause injury to a competitor or consumers.

Louisiana law allows any person or entity who suffers a loss of money or property as a result of unfair methods of competition or unfair or deceptive acts or practices, including false advertising, to file suit. We have prosecuted and defended cases involving unfair trade practices, including misappropriation of trade secrets, fraud, false or deceptive advertising, interference with contracts and other business relations, and conspiracies.
